Empowered on Strategic Context
According to Empowered, there are 6 types of strategic context (2021, chap. 12)
:
- Company Mission is why we are here.
- Company Scorecard is the set of KPIs showing the health of the business.
- Company Objectives are the outcomes the company is focused on for this year
- Product Vision and Principles describes the future we are trying to create that is ~3-10 years out.
- Team Topology describes what the responsibility of each team is and how it fits into the larger picture
- Product Strategy connects each product teams specific objectives to the overall company objectives.
